Moving to Barcelona was never part of his plan. Overwhelmed by guilt, he decides to pursue a dream that isn't his own and rent an apartment near his new business. What he didn't expect was that his neighbor would be determined to make his life miserable, much less that returning the favor would be the only way he could feel anything again. But she doesn't have it easy either. Trapped in a life she never wanted, she chooses to leave everything behind and fight for her dream of becoming a haute cuisine chef when loss and anger become too much for her. Meanwhile, she watches the neighborhood where she grew up wither away. She feels that mass tourism has taken everything from her: the Barcelona she knows, the places she visited with the person she loved most in the world, her dream restaurant, and even the apartment where she was going to live. What neither of them knows is that they share much more than they realize: a pain that is destroying everything they once were and consuming them from within. And aren't anger and guilt two different sides of the same coin?
