I Can Jump! Shoyo Hinata has been passionate about volleyball ever since he saw the "Little Giant" play in the Spring National Championship when he was still in elementary school. Inspired by that player, he decides to take up volleyball. However, in his first and only official junior high tournament, he suffers a crushing defeat at the hands of the young rising star, Tobio Kageyama. Hinata vows that one day he will surpass him! With that goal in mind, he enters Karasuno High School, the same school where his idol played. But, to his surprise, Kageyama is also on the team! Now, alongside his old rival and new teammates, Hinata throws himself headlong into his most ambitious goal: reaching the national championship.
