Ese dolor que no existe

In life, the world seems divided between those who act without being intimidated and those who move forward with a pain hidden beneath their skin. For Loris, that pain began in childhood, when he still enjoyed summers with his grandfather Tempesta. By his side, the need to read to banish anxieties disappeared, and Loris was able to surrender to his surroundings: he learned to cultivate the garden, build an aviary, and raise pigeons, always faithful and iridescent.
Now Loris is thirty years old, has made reading his profession, lives in the city, has an apartment, and a girlfriend. However, his job at the publishing house is precarious, and the anxiety of not being good enough devours him. Tempesta, the pigeons, his childhood are gone forever. Day after day, Loris withdraws into himself, focused on the warning signals his body sends him. There is a pain that stalks him, he is sure of it, a pain that no one sees but him. And as doctors, his girlfriend, and his parents become increasingly distant, Loris feels he can only count on two allies in his life: social media —both relief and sustenance for his inner demons— and Catastrophe, the mutant creature —eyes of a cat, skin of a fish, ears of a wolf— who sits by his side in the most difficult moments and whom no one but him can see.
