Doña Urraca : Emperatriz de Hispania

Kingdom of León, 12th century. Upon the death of Alfonso VI, his daughter Urraca inherits an empire at war and becomes the first woman to rule a European kingdom alone. But her right to the throne will be challenged from all sides: by an ambitious nobility, by a scheming Church, by her violent husband, Alfonso I of Aragon, and finally, by her own son.
