Márkaris vuelve a deleitarnos con las andanzas de Kostas Jaritos en una investigación con la IA como telón de fondo.
Kostas Jaritos, now head of the Attica Security Forces, is worried about Zisis, who is hospitalized after suffering a heart attack, and Adriani replaces Zisis as head of the homeless shelter. Suddenly, the Elefsina police report that a guard at the local archaeological site, where the ancient religious mysteries of Eleusis took place, has been found stabbed to death. When they begin investigating the crime, they discover that several artifacts at the site have been replaced with fake reproductions, so perfect that it is almost impossible to distinguish them from the originals. Someone wants to demonstrate that replicas, made with the help of high technology and Artificial Intelligence, can be a solution for many Greek archaeological monuments, or even to replace the never-returned Parthenon friezes, on display at the British Museum. But nothing is as simple as it seems. And amidst succulent Greek dishes and celebrations at the refuge, the idea develops that AI transfers the ancient concept of economic fraud to other areas, such as art and literature.
