Time has not healed the wounds of the Montagues and the Capulets, two Verona families locked in a bitter feud whose origins are almost forgotten. With hatred came violence, and with violence, the first innocent victims. But from hatred also sprang love between two young people destined for misfortune: Romeo and Juliet.
