The Weight of the Hair Comb is a contemporary play that, from the youthful perspective of its author, pays homage to women through poetic, emotive, and symbolic scenes. The hair comb, a traditional Castilian symbol, becomes a metaphor for the weight of mourning, inequality, and the silence that many women endure. Throughout the play, various themes are addressed, such as sexism, motherhood, suicide, violence, and freedom. This work not only denounces injustice but also honors and brings women into the public eye.
