The mage Frieren visits the Imperial capital, the city where, obeying the wishes of her master Flamme, a magical civilization flourished. While a plot to assassinate Serie is being hatched behind the scenes, the Continental Magical Association sets to work protecting its founder, though this inevitably leads to a clash of ideals and pride with the magical special forces, the body tasked with defending the Imperial capital.
