Psicopompo

Psychopomps are mythological figures tasked with guiding souls on their journey to the afterlife. Although Orpheus is not one in the strictest sense —as Hermes is, for example— he descends into Hades hoping to rescue his beloved Eurydice. This desperate act makes him one of the few mortals capable of crossing the threshold between life and death and walking, for a moment, between the two worlds.
