Sometimes, stars get tangled in her head and tears fill with fish. Sometimes, sadness seems endless. But Grandma repeats words of the sun and the hot soup: “It will pass, it will pass…” “I would like to tell the children that no matter what circumstances they find themselves in, when night falls the stars will be there, shining, and when day comes, the clouds will make shapes in the sky. I hope that all children —especially those who live in places where life is difficult— can embrace this beauty that belongs to us simply by virtue of inhabiting this world.”
