Una ranita en otoño (y mucho más...)

Evocative and exquisite, this delicate coming-of-age story takes the form of a contemplative journey interwoven with subtle humor and thought-provoking reflections on life's lessons. While helping with the pumpkin harvest, a little frog born last spring encounters two wandering toads who have captured the ghost of a recently withered Shungiku flower. Now that the days are growing shorter and grayer and colder, just like the toads, the spirit longs to reach the tropics. The little frog decides to join them on their expedition south. We, too, soon want to join the group, and for a season, we journey with this inexperienced little frog as she discovers the world around her for the first time. Along the way, surrounded by unfamiliar landscapes, she enjoys exciting adventures, sees the sea for the first time, embarks on a journey of self-discovery, and encounters mice, cats, dogs, trees, persimmons, and other fascinating creatures.
