At the beginning of his career, Carlos Giménez brought other people's scripts to life in comic book form, and then, over six decades, he established himself as one of the most brilliant and complete authors in modern comics. However, we haven't often seen Carlos Giménez in his role as a pure and imaginative draftsman. This book shows us the author in complete autonomy, freed from sequential and narrative constraints. Yet, this journey into the artist's most intimate workshop also tells a story: we will immerse ourselves in Carlos Giménez's inner world, filled with images and homages, memories and challenges, and perhaps we will understand previously unexplored aspects of his past, present, and future work.
