Huracán

On a plot of land in Paine, Chile, a black racing greyhound named Huracán runs not only after hares, but also after the freedom he senses beyond the ropes of his owner, Francisco Bauer, a bitter man who rules with violence over both dogs and people. When Huracán's instincts begin to fail, Francisco sees his decline as the perfect excuse to get rid of him. Juan, a young man who lives with his family under the yoke of the landowner, must decide between continuing to obey or risking everything to protect the greyhound, his faithful companion, who only dreams of a better life.
