Patina

Patty, or Patina, runs like lightning. She runs to escape the taunts of her new classmates. To escape the fear of losing her mother, who suffers from diabetes and can no longer care for her two daughters. So Patty runs for her too, because her mother can no longer do it. And losing isn't an option. But the more she runs, the more pressure mounts, and her temper flares.
