Marina is a journalist barely scraping by in the big city. Her job consumes her completely. She spends hours in front of the computer, writing all sorts of articles. She doesn't complain. It's always been her dream. On rare occasions, her friends manage to pull her out of her routine and away from the memories that haunt her at night: the memory of her first and greatest love, who disappeared without saying goodbye. One day, everything changes… When Javier, an old friend, reappears in her life. He brings with him the scent of the past and the echo of events Marina would rather forget. From that moment on, fear and love go hand in hand, as they both discover that some shadows aren't so dark when faced with people who only want to see you smile again.
