La Casa de la Bestia

Born out of wedlock and rejected by society, Alma has learned to live in solitude and is happy that way, as long as her mother is by her side. But when her mother falls gravely ill, Alma discovers a clue about her father, of whom she knew nothing until then, and writes to him pleading for help. She doesn't suspect then that she is a bastard of the House of Avera, one of the four noble families who, imbued with divine power, serve the gods, and that her father is a vessel for the Dread Beast, the most terrifying god of all, the harbinger of death. Desperate to cure her mother, Alma agrees to sacrifice her left arm to the Beast in a ceremony that will forever bind her to the House of Avera and its deity. Her mother, however, dies soon after, and Alma finds herself trapped on the vast Avera estate, despised by all and reduced to a mere pawn in her father's schemes. The thirst for revenge is the only thing that drives her forward. That, and the strange bond she shares with her god, a monster who is always by her side, a supernatural being who takes the form of a handsome, silver-haired prince whom only she can see. Convinced by him that she has been chosen to change the world, Alma embarks, with his help, on a dangerous plan to destroy the House that has taken everything from her.
