Zarautz, 1568. Bartolomé de Irigoyen, master shipwright, struggles to preserve his legacy after the disaster suffered during the construction of the most ambitious galleon of his career: the Santa María. In a desperate attempt to save his business and the family's honor, he plunges into a maelstrom of loans, inheritances, and marriage alliances, dragging his two children along with him. When Beatriz, a young woman full of dreams and convinced she has found love, bursts into their lives, what seemed like the solution becomes a storm that resurfaces old wounds that never healed between the two Irigoyen brothers, threatening to destroy the family.
