When Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King, discovers the joyful realm of Christmas Town, he realizes he has finally found what he was looking for. Tired of scaring children on Halloween night, Jack decides to take Santa Claus's place and celebrate Christmas in his own way. His intentions are good, but only Sally—the rag doll secretly in love with him—can stop Jack from turning the most joyful holiday of the year into a true nightmare.
