Jet is twenty-seven years old and still stuck in Woodstock, the Vermont town where she was born, waiting for her life to begin. "I'll do it later," she always says. There's time. Until, on Halloween night, Jet is violently attacked by an intruder she doesn't even see. She suffers a catastrophic brain injury. The doctor is certain that within a week, she'll develop a fatal aneurysm. Jet had never considered the idea of ​​a person having enemies. But now she sees everyone in a new light: her family, her former best friend turned sister-in-law, her ex-boyfriend. She only has seven days, and as her condition continues to worsen, Billy, her childhood friend, is the only help she can count on.
