A la vista de todos (Serie de Blecker y Cano, 4)

The first broom bushes have appeared along the Camino de las Embarazadas (Path of the Pregnant Women), and Lieutenant Blecker is glad to have left her second winter in the mountains behind. But she will soon realize that spring doesn't arrive in San Lorenzo when expected. The discovery of the body of a local woman, who had dedicated herself entirely to her work and her son, will shatter the tranquility enjoyed by the town's residents. While they try to determine if the death was the result of a violent robbery, Blecker and Cano also try to bring order to their own lives, which are going through periods of change, without realizing that the case has much more to do with them than they would like. The two Civil Guard officers will have to question how real the image of the people they live with every day really is. After all, is reality what we see, or what we construct to fit our desires?
