Un bien relativo (Serie de Blecker y Cano, 2)

Just as Lieutenant Karen Blecker begins to wonder again if winters will always be this cold and monotonous at the San Lorenzo de El Escorial barracks, Officer Suárez reports a call from three hikers: a body has been found on the La Horizontal path. A death in the village is always a noteworthy event, and even more so when it's that of a nun who doesn't belong to any of the local religious orders. With the help of the reluctant Sergeant Cano, Blecker begins to delve into the past of Sister Lucía, a spirited woman who dedicated her life to the creation and development of a modern hospital ward. Following the profiles of other women linked to the nun for different reasons, the couple will find themselves immersed in a dark investigation that will lead them from the most affluent areas to the outlying neighborhoods of 1980s Madrid—as opposite as they are intimately linked—forcing them to re-examine their own convictions, to question whether there is really no flaw in the monolithic certainty of good. And what if, sometimes, this too could be relative?
