A solo un paso

Sooner or later, every poet understands that reality reveals itself as an illusion, especially in what is closest to us, like our own memory. In this book, José María Velázquez-Gaztelu embarks on a journey through time —even into that underside where, as Jorge Manrique wrote, "what has not yet come is taken for the past"— to visit those liminal spaces that, sometimes awakened by dreams or an epiphany, constitute an essential, perhaps distilled, reality, which, after crossing the threshold, must be imbued with meaning.
