For a long time, Joan had buried the memory of Ismael, her best friend from university, who, at just twenty-four years old, decided to give it all up, overwhelmed by the life that lay ahead. Now, Joan decides to confront the memories, the grief, and above all, the guilt, by talking about her friend, about the days they spent together, and also about his suicide. Through encounters with his family and friends, as well as her own memories, she tries to come to terms with what happened and complete the grieving process she couldn't complete in the past.
