After graduating from university, Haiga, who has moved in with Kanae, takes him to meet his parents. There's some initial awkwardness between them, but gradually they warm up, and he and Haiga enjoy a peaceful time in his hometown. However, upon returning from the trip, the manager of the bathhouse where Kanae worked warns him that one of Maki's clients, his former colleague, is harassing him and has even injured him, so he'd like Haiga to replace him. Kanae refuses, but seeing how worried he is, Haiga offers to pretend to be Maki's boyfriend and act as his bodyguard.
