El gran robo

Agustino Ponce, nicknamed "Lenin," is a small-time thief. When he gets out of prison, he has nothing. To make matters worse, his grandmother is in a nursing home, and his sister, the most notorious prostitute in Barcelona's Raval district, wants nothing to do with him. He manages to find lodging at the city's most infamous boarding house: Cal Pitoño, and there he meets his future wife, Mar, the cleaning lady. Necessity is pressing, and Lenin looks for a quick and easy heist. He soon learns that two British and two German ships are arriving at the port to exchange prisoners. The hundreds of men on both crews will receive a generous gift: crates of liquor and tobacco. He decides to steal some. It will be the biggest heist of his life. But, meanwhile, those to whom he still owes money are already after him... It's autumn 1943, and Hitler is losing the war.
