El jardín de los secretos perdidos

1940. Stasia Niemec always felt happy in the idyllic French countryside, where she traveled every summer from Holland with her family. Those days, playing in the gardens of an old castle in Rouen and writing fairy tales, marked her forever. But that time of innocence comes to an end when the Germans invade her country. Amid the chaos of war, she soon becomes one of the Resistance's most wanted agents and realizes that the only place she can be safe is in the Rouen castle, which becomes the center of a clandestine operation against the enemy. Seventy years later, Isabelle, Stasia's great-granddaughter, sets out to renovate the ruined castle, which becomes an unexpected opportunity to reconnect with her sister Emilie, from whom she had become estranged after the death of their parents. As they work on the restoration, the castle's corners evoke the stories their great-grandmother used to tell them in their childhood. Thus, little by little, the sisters will discover that the stories they believed to be fictional hide a moving testimony of courage that will forever transform the way they understand their family's past.
