Ojos de agua

Amidst the scent of the sea and Galician pines, in a residential tower by the beach, a young, blue-eyed saxophonist, Luis Reigosa, has been found murdered with a cruelty that points to a crime of passion. However, the dead musician was not in a stable relationship, and the house, devoid of fingerprints, reveals nothing but neatly arranged sheet music on shelves and saxophones hanging on the walls. Leo Caldas, a solitary and melancholic police inspector who juggles his work at the station with a radio advice show, will take charge of an investigation that will lead him from the evening mist to the smoky atmosphere of taverns and jazz clubs. By his side is his assistant, Rafael Estévez, an Aragonese man too impetuous for the ironic and ambiguous Galicia, and even too impetuous for Leo himself, who, between sips of wine, searches for the ghosts hidden in others while trying to survive his own.
