Back in San Sebastián, Laia Ortiz is selected as a juror in the most high-profile trial in recent memory. The victim is Borja Miranda; the accused, Lander Foronda, son of a powerful San Sebastián construction magnate embroiled in a recent real estate scandal. The case seems straightforward: two roommates, a deteriorating relationship, documented blackmail, seemingly clear evidence, and a defendant with public opinion against him.
