To save Keitaro, afflicted by a mysterious, ghostly fungus that awakens his murderous instincts, Yayoi and Eiko travel to the site where, years earlier, a series of mysterious cases of female decapitations by men began. There, they encounter the ghost of a man who was betrayed and harbors a deep resentment. Once the case is solved, and before heading to their next destination, Yayoi asks to take a detour and visit the shrine erected in honor of Abe-no-Seimei, where a surprising encounter awaits them...
