El profesor de Auschwitz

In the darkness of Auschwitz, there is a block whose walls are covered in drawings; a place where children sing, perform plays, and play. Sheltered but in the shadow of the chimneys, they receive food, are safe from vermin, and learn to meditate, imagining what it feels like to have a full stomach and live a day without fear. Fredy Hirsch is the young Jewish prisoner who has become their guide and their light. But being a teacher in a concentration and extermination camp is no easy task. He negotiates with the SS in exchange for better supplies, hides his sexual orientation, and risks his life every day for one reason only: to protect the children from the mortal danger they all face. However, time is running out for Fredy and the hundreds of children in his care. Will he find a way to teach them the last lesson of all?
