El preboste de seguridad (Ibáñez Mítico, 2)

Never before in our country has "The Security Provost" been published as Ibáñez conceived it. From its interior, published in two parts, to its cover, which we haven't been able to appreciate in its entirety until now, the publication of this Mortadelo and Filemón adventure is, without a doubt, the most eventful of all. A comic strip beset by numerous vicissitudes that invite us to reflect on a period that shook the Spanish publishing landscape and marked a turning point in the author's career. These are, very likely, the last panels Ibáñez drew for the legendary Editorial Bruguera, thus concluding a successful collaboration that began in the summer of 1957. Here we see the end of an era. Furthermore, we include previously unpublished material and restored panels to ensure this version is as faithful as possible to the one Ibáñez drew in 1985. With this comic, we settle a debt.
