Filos mortales

Violent and sharp as the weapons wielded by its characters (Colonel Sand dan Glokta, Curnden Craw, Shevedieh the thief and Javre, the Lioness of Hoskopp, the lunatic and bloodthirsty Ninefingers...), the stories in "Edges of Death" unfold from before "The Blade Itself" to after "Red Country." Chronologically ordered, the tales follow threads hinted at in the plots of the Circle of the World novels, but all can be read independently. It's another facet of Abercrombie at his best.
