La princesa de hielo (Los crímenes de Fjällbacka)

In a remote corner of Sweden lies Fjällbacka, a small fishing village where almost nothing ever happens. Until one cold winter day, a neighbor finds Alexandra Wijkner's body in a bathtub filled with ice-cold water, naked and with her wrists slashed. Writer Erica Falck, who has returned to Fjällbacka after the sudden death of her parents, is commissioned to write Alex's obituary. As she pieces together the victim's past, Detective Patrik Hedström —leading the investigation— uncovers more and more clues that lead him to believe Alex's death may not have been a suicide. The relationship between Erica and Patrik soon evolves beyond the professional, and as the case becomes more complex, they both become immersed in an increasingly unsettling mystery, rooted in the history of a town where secrets are reluctant to surface.
