El llanto de los muertos (Los crímenes de Fjällbacka)

Thirty years ago, teenagers Sofie, Ellen, and Magdalena were inseparable, and the future seemed to promise them uninterrupted happiness. Until one night, Sofie vanished without a trace, and nothing was ever the same in Fjällbacka. Now, after a chance discovery related to the case, Patrik Hedström and his colleagues at the Tanumshede police station reopen the investigation, while his wife, the writer Erica Falck, unable to remain detached, decides to investigate on her own. With hardly any clues, perhaps the elderly Aino, the mourner, the woman who weeps for the dead, is the only one capable of shedding light on the questions of the past that still cast their shadow over the present.
