Yayoi Kusama

Yayoi Kusama is a Japanese artist, a pioneer of pop art, minimalism, conceptual art, and feminism. As a child, she had an astonishing vision: she saw an endless field of polka-dotted flowers and felt herself merging with them. Growing up, she used art to express her worldview.
