On the grounds of Mirai Academy, once known as a cult, the skeleton of a child is discovered. Noriko, a lawyer, wonders if the body could belong to a girl she knew. During elementary school, she attended a summer camp at Mirai Academy, where some children lived apart from their parents to foster their independence. Noriko, who struggled to fit in at school, befriended a girl who promised they would be friends forever. What if that girl had died? The doors open to memories from thirty years ago, and the feelings of childhood friendship and guilt begin to resurface.
