¿Qué fue eso del 15M?

Valeria is a girl who, like many children her age, "doesn't care about politics" because she finds it distant and boring. Everything changes the day she snoops around in her grandmother's attic and finds a box full of old banners with mysterious messages. Accompanied by her Uncle Francis, Valeria embarks on a journey through recent Spanish history to discover that politics isn't just about suited men in imposing buildings. Through the memories of the 15M movement, she learns what democracy is, why power is something citizens "lend" to politicians, and what happens when those who represent us forget who we are. This picture book explains some political concepts in a simple and accessible way, paying tribute to that generation of the indignant and reminding new generations that democracy is a living challenge that is built every day, online and in the streets, and above all, by cooperating with others.
