La era de Drácula

In 1885, Count Dracula left his castle in the Carpathian Mountains for the shores of Great Britain. Only the intervention of Professor Van Helsing and his allies prevented the consummation of his plans and brought about the monster's destruction. But what if things hadn't gone that way? In 1888, Dracula has become Prince Consort and Lord Protector of Great Britain, and the country has learned to accept him. The Carpathian Guard enforces the law in a London that has reverted to the most brutal forms of medieval justice: Van Helsing's head is displayed on a pike in front of Buckingham Palace, and Dracula's enemies are impaled. To protect their position, the nobility rushes to become vampires, and little by little, the lower classes follow suit. England becomes a dual society where the living, increasingly harassed, and the triumphant undead coexist with each other. But then a series of horrific crimes shakes London: in Whitechapel, a killer is disemboweling vampire prostitutes, and the panic he unleashes threatens to destabilize the new regime.
