Vigo, 1889. Catalina and Delaira grow up mending nets in O Berbés, a humble fishing neighborhood where the future seems predetermined. While one accepts her fate by the sea, the other dreams of escaping, of leaving behind the poverty and the all-pervading salt air. But the world is changing. The arrival of the English Cable, the rise of the bourgeoisie, and social tensions open up unimaginable paths before them… and also challenges they never could have foreseen.
