Under Arthur's command, Sumire and her companions travel to the northern base to subdue the barbarians. Edward believes Sumire shouldn't be on the battlefield, but Arthur wants her by his side, leading to a confrontation. Edward then declares he will take Sumire as his wife, but the girl, who until then had wished to remain with Arthur as his knight, not as queen, begins to question her future.
