Beatriz Martínez is a young philologist working on her thesis about Cervantes who quickly wins the affection of the staff at the National Library and moves freely around the premises. What everyone doesn't know is that Beatriz is an imposter with a single objective: to steal a document hidden for centuries in the deepest recesses of the building. A secret vault known to very few privileged people in the world: the Crimson Chamber. But Beatriz doesn't suspect that her actions will have unexpected consequences when the Buchjäger, the secret brotherhood that protects the chamber's contents, send their most lethal book hunter to recover what has been stolen. Furthermore, the young woman will be forced to enter a game with centuries-old rules and unscrupulous agents, authorized to act above the law.
