Kai feels the sea is hiding a secret from him. It's been this way ever since a surfing accident nearly cost him his life; since then, mermaids mingle in every brushstroke of his paintings and invade his dreams. In them, a song echoes, too distant to understand… Beneath the waves, Ociel dreams of having legs. As the crown prince of the Sea King, he longs only to escape to the surface and leave his father's expectations behind. But a storm changes their destinies forever: Kai awakens trapped in an underwater world that shouldn't exist, and Ociel is solely responsible for his legs transforming into a mermaid's tail.
