Fiel a su manera, el poeta alterna el fondo reflexivo, la intenci贸n moral, la familiaridad con la tradici贸n y su proyecci贸n en el presente.
The sixth volume of Jacobo Cortines's poetic work, *De un adi贸s permanente* (Of a Permanent Farewell), connects with its predecessor, *D铆as y trabajos* (Days and Labors), in that, following the Portico, represented by the poem "Eco" (Echo), which sets the book's overall tone, it begins with the section "Ofrenda" (Offering) as the culmination of poems dedicated to his deceased beloved. In the following section, "Presencias" (Presences), love is renewed like the light that governs the universe. The manifestation of Nature, a constant in Cortines's work, finds its place in "Canciones de la tierra" (Songs of the Earth). In contrast, with its intimate culturalism, "Colores y notas" (Colors and Notes) gathers experiences born from the visual arts. The book closes with an Epilogue, "De los adioses" (Of Farewells), which features a moving existential meditation, accompanied by short poems that provide context.
