In 1940s Spain, three women struggle to maintain their identities. Their missions as spies for the British government or the German secret service fill them with fear, doubt, and insecurity. Against the backdrop of World War II in Europe, their journey begins in Paris, just days before the German occupation of France, taking them through Lyon, Castellón, Valencia, Madrid, and Lisbon. After numerous trials, they arrive at the Hendaye train station, where the meeting between Hitler and Franco takes place on October 23, 1940. Three women and a man who joins them in this endeavor will experience their missions intensely, where love, intrigue, and passion, all set against the backdrop of Operation Bribery —launched by Winston Churchill's government to prevent Franco's entry into the European war— will transport the reader to an unexpected conclusion.
