El rayo de luz del día nublado

After a long period of absolute silence in my mouth and hands, the day finally arrived when I could face the blank pages and begin to write. To write everything I had kept inside, everything my words couldn't quite capture aloud, despite my constant and frustrated attempts. I wrote to heal, to find a small glimmer of light in each text; to find myself. I wrote to have the false sense that the pain was easing a little, and it seems that time is what truly relieves that burden. And then, I wrote realizing that perhaps within these words, other people might feel accompanied, understood, and who knows, maybe even relieved, as they went through their own journeys. And then I decided that it couldn't be just mine, but that this copy had to reach more hands, more minds, and more dreams. Because pain is always easier to bear in company, and nothing has been more of a companion in my life than my own books.
