The cast and crew of a popular TV crime drama are filming in the Lake District, and behind the scenes, relations are just as tense as on screen. The director's reputation precedes him, the two lead stars are at odds, and rumors are flying. Meanwhile, the locals are enjoying the shoot: Amita Kahtri and her friends from the Penrith Bingo Club are becoming social media stars with their behind-the-scenes photos, and Amita's son-in-law, Jason, is taking it all in stride. But when the on-screen carnage turns into a real-life murder at the concert hall where the TV drama is based, and the real police are just as baffled as the TV detectives, it's up to the locals to unravel the mystery.
