Matar a una booklover

When images of the brutal murder of a book lover with thousands of followers spread across social media, the case falls to Chief Inspector Paco Carrasco. Carrasco is a devoted family man with no vices, no shady past, and no inclination to bend the rules. He is the kind of policeman who could easily be real—were it not for the fact that he exists solely as a character in a novel. That novel is inspired by Bel Barcelona—a flesh-and-blood book lover—and written by aspiring author Mike Solo, after the two strike up a relationship born of their shared love of books. However, when the fictional crime is faithfully reenacted in real life, that relationship—a tranquil interplay of light, shadow, and secrets—suffers a brutal reversal.
