Viaje a Avalón : Una fábula

Journey to Avalon is a fable starring its author, the Mallorcan squire Guillem de Torroella, who narrates his stay on the Enchanted Island, home to the fairy Morgana and King Arthur, who is immersed in deep sadness. The author masterfully describes the extraordinary splendor of a landscape marked by paradisiacal features, aware that no living being has ever before experienced such a thing. The allure of beauty transforms his initial unease into genuine interest in the island, and, led by Morgana to Arthur's presence, Torroella discovers the purpose of this singular and perilous journey: to receive a message from the king, return with him to their starting point, and deliver it to the world.
