An exquisite poet, secret lover, and member of Barcelona's economic elite as an executive of the Philippine Tobacco Company, Jaime Gil de Biedma (Barcelona, ​​1929-1990) is the author of a brief but intense poetic output that began in 1953 with "Según sentencia del tiempo" and continued with "Moralidades", "Compañeros de viaje" and "Poemas póstumos", titles finally collected in "Las personas del verbo".
