Everyone knows that Cherry's husband, Tom, is in Hollywood filming a movie... Almost no one knows he's not coming back. Tom is the creator of Thursday, a comic strip that has become an international phenomenon. And it's semi-autobiographical, which unfortunately means there's a character based on Cherry: Baby. She's horrified. No fat girl wants to see herself caricatured in a drawing, much less on the big screen. But there's no way to ignore it. Baby looks so much like Cherry that people recognize her even at the supermarket. And while her soon-to-be ex-husband is off in Los Angeles getting rich and famous and becoming the latest internet sensation, Cherry is stuck behind taking care of the dog Tom always wanted and the house where they were going to start a family... and wondering what she's going to do without him. Until one night she ventures out to see her favorite band... and someone recognizes her. Russ Sutton came into Cherry's life when she was a young art student obsessed with pin-up dresses and patent leather heels. Russ really knows Cherry. He likes Cherry. And best of all... he's never heard of Thursday.
